April 2011 -- Shearer's Foods Millennium plant was honored with the 2011 Plant of the Year Award from Food Engineering magazine.
April 1, 2011 -- Phase II of the project for the production of potato chips was complete.
October 15, 2010 -- U.S. Secretary of Energy Dr. Steven Chu toured the Millennium Facility and commented on Shearer's commitment to sustainability as "leadership beyond decreasing energy consumption."
August 13, 2010 -- The official Ribbon Cutting Event took place at the Massillon site.
April 5, 2010 -- Shearer's Foods opens its new Massillon Manufacturing Plant for production. This state-of-the-art facility was constructed with 22% recycled materials, and will use 30% less energy in manufacturing than industry standards.
