    • Shearer’s Foods is located in Brewster, Ohio, and has been producing award-winning snacks for 35 years. We produce nearly 60 million pounds of snacks over almost 80 acres of space.
    • Shearer’s manufactures and warehouses a wide array of snack favorites including our own family of brands, and contract and private label product for top snack companies and retailers. Our state-of-the-art facilities employ modern equipment, processes, and systems. 
    • Company brands include Shearer’s® Potato Chips, Pretzels, Pork Rinds, and Salsa Con Queso; Tangos™ Tortilla Chips; and Shapers™ Whole Grain Chips.

      • A unique Direct Store Delivery (DSD) system that keeps sections stocked with guaranteed-fresh products and ensures the best possible appearance within the snack aisle. 
      • The DSD system is comprised of 65 company routes and 60 distributor routes, serviced by 12 tractors, 40 trailers, and 65 step vans from 6 distribution centers provides timeliness, flexibility, and an ultimate in coverage. 
    • Shearer's Foods is committed to community involvement through sponsorships and donations on the local, regional, and national level. Schools and organizations close to our manufacturing sites are supported with financial and product donations by our company and associates, as well as through donations of personal and company time. 
    • The Shearer’s in-house Caring and Sharing Committee identifies fellow associates and people in the community with special needs and provides support. Throughout each year, fundraising events are held to support the committee's mission. Committee members include associates on all three shifts, from management to manufacturing.
    • Shearer's Foods Caring and Sharing Committee was honored in 2004 as the winner of the Weatherhead 100 Community Services Best Practices Category, the winner of the NorthCoast 99 Community Service Category, and the winner of a Pillar Award for Community Service for raising and distributing almost $10,000 to organizations and individuals in need.  
    • In 2006, Shearer's joined ENERGY STAR® and committed to protect the environment through the continuous improvement of our energy performance. Through the creation of a comprehensive Energy Management Program, we address environmental responsibility in our offices, manufacturing facilities, and distribution centers.
    • Shearer's maintains a company store at its corporate headquarters in Brewster, Ohio. Our store has the quaint charm found only in Amish Country and carries a complete line of Shearer's award-winning snack food products, including potato chips, tortilla chips, cheese curls, pretzels, pork rinds, dips, and salsas. Many items are available in cost-saving bulk packaging.
