Shearer’s Foods is proud to be a major underwriter of this year’s Annual Holiday Tree Festival to benefit the Akron Children’s Hospital. The Festival will be celebrated November 22-30 at the John S. Knight Center with an awe-inspiring display of decorated Christmas trees, wreaths, miniatures and other holiday decorations.
Sponsored by the Volunteers of Akron Children’s Hospital, a committee of 115 volunteers has worked tirelessly for the past twelve months to make this year’s Holiday Tree Festival a fabulous success. Since the Festival began in 1982, almost $3 million has been raised to benefit the children and families served by the Hospital. Funds are used to purchase equipment, conduct research and enhance services.
