    Shearer's Announces Promotions at the Vice Presidential Level

    The following organizational changes have been announced by Scott W. Smith, President of Shearer’s Foods.

    RANDY WHISLER has been promoted to Vice President, Operations. Randy is now responsible for all Shearer’s manufacturing operations including Brewster and Lubbock, and in the near future, Massillon. Having joined Shearer’s in June, Randy has led Shearer’s efforts toward facility expansion and operations improvements. He has extensive experience in the food industry through leadership roles that he has held with Heinz and General Foods.

    TERRY MUSTARD has been promoted to Vice President, Engineering, a new position at Shearer’s. In keeping with Shearer’s emphasis on continuous improvement with the current facilities as well as anticipated expansions, Terry is leading a technical group as they provide services to all Shearer’s locations. Terry joined Shearer’s in January 2007.

    STEVE SURMAY, a twenty-six year Shearer’s associate, has been named Senior Vice President of Co-Pack Operations, where he provides executive leadership of business and product development, quality assurance systems and manufacturing excellence to Shearer’s co-pack customers.
