Shearer's Honored with the 2009 Evolution of Manufacturing Award for Sustainability

Shearer’s Foods, Inc. is a winner of the Evolution of Manufacturing Award for Sustainability. Shearer’s received this award at the Evolution of Manufacturing Conference on February 19.

As the complexion of world markets and conditions have shifted, Shearer’s has risen to the challenge, embarking on an aggressive and comprehensive Energy Management Program to protect the environment through the continuous improvement of their energy performance. Within this Program, the company addresses environmental responsibility in their offices, manufacturing facilities, and distribution centers.
