Massillon Area Chamber of Commerce Honors Shearer's Foods as Business of the Year

Shearer’s Foods was honored at the 93rd Annual Massillon Area Chamber of Commerce Dinner on April 23, 2009. Mr. Bob Sanderson, President of the Massillon Chamber of Commerce, presented the Business of the Year Award to Bob Shearer, Chief Executive Officer of Shearer’s Foods. Shearer’s Foods was recognized for their growth and contribution to the economy of the Massillon area.

“It is a privilege to be a part of the Greater Massillon community,” said Mr. Shearer. “In thirty-five short years, Shearer’s Foods has grown from a small family-owned potato chip distribution business to a national leader in the production of salty snacks.
