While it may be hard to believe, there are still some people who have not yet tasted "Shearer Perfection in Every Bag!™ for themselves. We're working hard to change that. Our marketing plan is anchored by our belief in 3 core principles of important brand identities: Taste, Fun and Communication.
Taste
Taste is the number one reason people buy a product. If a food does not taste good, people will not buy it again. The importance of taste has stood the test of time -- it is always "number 1." At Shearer's we've invested in a variety of methods to help us encourage consumers to taste our products. We believe that once a consumer experiences Shearer's taste and quality, they will never buy their old brand again. With this idea top of mind, Shearer's has developed an event marketing team to spread the news of Shearer's in our markets. From local festivals to major sponsorships and food shows, Shearer's event marketing team is on site sampling snacks to everyone in attendance.
On a seasonal basis, Shearer's event marketing team expands to include additional strategic teams based at Shearer's branches across our markets. These regional teams add further focus and intensity to summertime events by concentrating Shearer's message in the markets served by our corporate branches and independent distributor network.
Fun
Shearer's is a major sponsorship partner of many professional and collegiate sports. The partnerships offer a great way for people to combine activity, family fun and excitement with great Shearer's snacks. We can't think of anything better than enjoying a great game with your favorite snacks. It's an American tradition!
Communication
We promise to produce only the best snacks- guaranteed. We engage in open communication with our consumers and customers. If something is going right, we want to know how we can do even better.
